Americas 250 5K Fun Run

Join us for a fun and meaningful way to celebrate our nation’s history at this special 5K fun run, proudly sponsored by Daviess Community Hospital. Held in honor of America’s 250th anniversary, this unique event will take you along the historic brick streets of downtown Washington, passing by local landmarks that tell the story of our community. The race will begin and end at the Daviess County Courthouse (300 East Hefron St.) and includes a special photo opportunity at this iconic location. Check-in & on-site registration opens at 8 a.m. and ends at 8:30 a.m. The race will start at 9 a.m. and conclude around 10 a.m. Participation is free, with swag bags for the first 100 registered participants and commemorative medals awarded to the first 75 finishers.
