Little Warrior Wishes, Inc.

Little Warrior Wishes, Inc. (LWW) was established in 2022 by the Davis family following a Walker-Warburg Syndrome diagnosis in 2020 for their youngest daughter. With limited time, the family wanted to live a life of love, memories, and adventure to share in together. With restricted timeframes due to prognosis, the family recognized a need of theirs and other families in similar circumstances. LWW serves children 0-18 with a focus on ages 0-5 with a chronic or life-limiting diagnosis in Indiana with a focus on Daviess, Knox, Pike, Martin and Greene County or any child in the United States with a Walker-Warburg Syndrome Diagnosis. This population has not had opportunity to participate in services or wish granting experiences due to their ages; as most wish granting organizations, children must be 3 years old to apply. Our organization recognizes the need for experiences and wishes expands beyond the age of the child that carries the diagnosis. 

Every family should have the opportunity to create lasting memories, increase their hope through connection, and reduce the stress of balancing a life of caregiving and memory making. LWW looks to create improvements to physical and emotional health through increased hope, reduced feelings of loneliness, and increased confidence not only in children's lives, but in the lives of the families who care for and love the impacted child.  LWW hopes to impact children, siblings, and families' perspectives through an experience important to the family. LWW understands that not all miracles are cures. Simply put, miracles can look like experiences, adventures, and memories to hold on to forever. This is specifically why we are bringing more inclusive, adaptive experiences to the communities we serve such as the Boundless Blooms Accessible Garden and the Accessible Carriage. 

LWW hopes to create connections and community through the services and programs established including the annual Memorial Butterfly Release and Halloween Costume Party for families to connect through shared experiences. Each memory making wish experience is specific to the family and their needs and the possibilities are endless. 

Little Warrior Wishes, Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit organization and any donations made are tax exempt. LWW is fully funded through donations and grants given. It is our greatest blessing to assist families as they process and go through this journey.
