We service the surrounding area. We are open for all events as an event location.
Since 2009, our Not-For-Profit, LLC, historical organization owns the former St. Patrick's Church and rectory. The buildings have been decommissioned by the Catholic diocese and is no longer affiliated with any religious organization. Our mission is to preserve the legacy of the nineteenth-century immigrants in southern Indiana.
We frequently hold events at our Center, which includes Curran House, the old rectory and Celtic Hall, the old church. All event income goes back into the maintenance of the Center. Both of our buildings were built in 1895. We have no paid employees, plus we have a volunteer board.
Our Curran House was an old Victorian rectory. Today, we use is as a small to medium size event location. It has been recently renovated this year, 2025.
Celtic Hall was an old church. It now is an event center with a large open area for tables and activities but still retains its old stain glass windows and charm. It is the perfect location for a large gathering.
Our Center has plenty of parking and open areas surrounding our buildings. We have hosted several outdoor/indoor weddings, bridal groups, Boy Scout gatherings, family reunions, baby showers, business and club meetings. We regularly host our own events on location.
We continue to be available for events and enjoy sharing our local history of the area with our guests. With a beautiful country setting and a serene location, we increase our public event hosting each year.
